Work Philosophy
I value my time at work and want to be in a workplace with colleagues who feel the same. Though I’m able to leave work at work and enjoy my life outside of my job, my job is an extension of my identity.
I desire to be in a desirable industry that has both credibility and prestige. Where I work and what I do matters not to only me but to my industry. Fast pace, fast moving, fast growing is where I want to be. I want to be in a work environment where innovation is happening and not bogged down by decade-old procedures and policies. I appreciate a workplace that trusts employees to find the best way to reach goals.
Mutual respect and trust are values I look for in co-workers. While I appreciate the company handbook, I don’t like to act like a company person when working with my team. While rules are important, accomplishing our team goals is important. I like to treat members of my team as individuals and encourage them to their best at work. I also like my team members to find fulfillment in their job and will do my best to help them accomplish that.
My experience in connecting with audiences is my strongest skillset. My innate understanding of what content connects with audiences and what doesn’t, coupled with my dependence on analytics prepares me achieve my goal of being a content strategist for a mid-size to large publisher or media outlet.
